2024 Webelos Woods at CFR
Webelos and Arrow of Lights (4th and 5th graders) their leaders, and parents are invited to a weekend of scouting fun!
This awesome weekend camping trip introduces them to scout camping using the patrol method and Scout-led outdoor adventures, while supervised by adult leaders and with parents nearby. This weekend event gives Scouts a taste of independence and self-reliance they will be learning in Scouts BSA! Some activities included will be fire starting, first aid, cooking, knots, and more!
Programming stations are focused on Webelos and AOL advancement requirements.
MEDICAL NOTICE: A parent/guardian or responsible person is required for every scout. Scouts & parents need to bring Medical Forms A, B1, B2. To download the BSA Medical Form > CLICK HERE
Meals are not included.
Patches are for youth participants only, extra patches can be ordered within registration.

Q) Can younger siblings attend? A) Yes, younger siblings can attend. They will not get a patch and there will not be programming for them. We have had an amazing response from Troops willing to volunteer their time to help with this event. We are excited to see how we can grow next year.
Q) What stations will be there this year? A) Programming stations are focused on Webelos and AOL advancement requirements. Our tentative schedule for the Webelos is Slingshots, Games, Archery, Let’s Camp, Knife Safety and Art Explosion. Our tentative schedule for Arrow of Lights is Bb’s, Climbing Tower, Games, Cooking, First Aid and High Tech Outdoors. This schedule is subject to change without notice.
Q) What time/where is check in for cub scouts? A) 7:30am-8:00am at Legend Lodge
Q) Can I come after check in? A) Yes you can, there will be someone at Legend Lodge to direct you to where you need to go
Q) Do I need to bring my medical forms? A) Yes. Please bring your completed part A, B1, and B2 medical forms with you to camp for our Health Officer.
Q) What meals are provided? A) You will need to pack a trail lunch. Dinner and Breakfast will be with the host troop. Additional fee from the troop may be associated with meal cost.
Q) Can I just bring my own dinner and breakfast? A) Yes you can! Please note that we have some shifty raccoons at Camp Falling Rock and they would love to snuggle with you if you have food in your tent.
Q) Do I get to pick where I camp? A) No. Your campsite will be assigned closer to the event. It is subject to change based on incoming registrations.
Q) Do I need to bring my own gear? A) Yes, personal gear is the responsibility of the participant.
Q) When do I set up my tent? A) Lunch and Camp Set up will be from 11:30 am-1:30pm
Q) IS the climbing tower going to be open? A) The climbing tower is open as a station to Arrows.
Q) Is lunch provided? A) No. Please bring a trail lunch
Q) Do I have to camp with a Troop? A) No. If you would prefer to camp on your own, we will have a location for Cub Scout Packs that wish to camp independently. We will provide a Provisional Cubmaster that is BALOO trained at that location. If this interests you please reach out to Katie Slaymaker at slaymakerkatie@gmail.com, so we can accommodate this request. This option requires you to be responsible for your dinner and breakfast.
