Join Us for the Polaris District Klondike Derby Gold Rush!

What is it:  A Winter Scout Skills competition with optional camping at the descretion of the Unit

When:    February 4th - 8:00 am – 5 :00 pm (Camping is optional Friday and Saturday night with units making their own reservations)* 

Cost:  $10 per Scout & Scouter (a hot lunch will be provided to all participants on Saturday)

Activities: 

Saturday will have several scout skills competitions, and events (that may change based on the weather)

• Crosscut Saw
• Firebuilding
• Lashing
• The Great Sled Race

Awards: 

• Klondike Derby Patch – Each participant will receive a patch.
• Awards Auction – will take place at the end of the competition.
• The Great Sled Race – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners
• Klondike Derby Overall Winner

*Each Unit has the option to reserve a campsite or cabin for Friday and/or Saturday night.  They will be responsible for their own campsite and provide all meals with the exception of Saturday’s lunch.
