Short Term Camp Administrator Training
National BSA has created a new classification of camp, the Short Term Camp. A Short Term Camp (STC) is “any council or district-organized overnight camping program, whether one-time or continuing, that is one, two or three nights in length where the council or its agents provide the staffing and may provide program and food services, and includes camps conducted off council properties.” Please note that national training courses are subject to the short-term camp requirements, regardless of format or duration. To meet the standards set forth by National for this new classification, each STC must be assessed by a Short Term Camp Administrator (STCA).
To qualify as a STCA, you must attend and complete a National Camp School training. Your name was given to us by your District Executive or Staff Advisor. That training is being offered on the following date within our Council:
January 21, 2023 – 9am – 6pm (the council office will open at 8:45 am) Lunch will not be provided.
