Learn how to become a Leave No Trace Trainer. 

Who: Scouts BSA over 14 years of age, Adult Leaders, Venturers, Venturing Advisors, Residence Camp staff, Leadership Training staff, Unit Commissioners.

What: 16-hour Leave No Trace Trainer course provides instruction on how to teach the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace and to help inspire others to minimize impacts while recreating outdoors. All course materials will be provided. This is a training course for individuals who want to learn more about Outdoor Ethics and help with training at the unit, district and council level.

Why: Learn the basics of Leave No Trace and Outdoor Ethics and the methods of teaching the Awareness Course to Troops, Packs (using age-appropriate materials), or Crews. The hands-on exercises will help you understand the 7 Principles and how they apply to your hiking, backpacking and camping plans year-round.
