The most important Scouting Scholars will be at Westerville Central High School on January 20, 2018. The adult Scouters of the Simon Kenton Council are the Scouting Scholars for our youth.
We wish to extend our gratitude to all the Deans of the Colleges as well as the volunteers who serve on the University of Scouting Committee to make this opportunity for "Scouting's Challenge" available to each Scouter in Simon Kenton Council and surrounding councils. A very special Thank You to our Registrar Val Ashburn and to our Professional Advisor Chris Wiseman and the entire Simon Kenton Council Support Staff, Executives and Administrative Staff.

The instructors who teach in our University of Scouting have been chosen by the College Deans for their knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm toward Scouting. We thank them for volunteering their time to share their scouting expertise and make the University of Scouting a great event! It is our hope that you take the resources they provide back to your units and Districts to help ensure QUALITY PROGRAMMING for all youth served. Our young people deserve no less!
Please review the course catalog link for available classes, including the Merit Badge and trainings being offered for Boy Scouts.
We hope you enjoy the camaraderie of our community within this University of Scouting, and we thank you for participating in the supplemental training you'll receive here. Have fun Scouting!

We gratefully acknowledge our host school:
Westerville Central High School
Courses are listed under the five colleges of study: Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing, Scouting Enrichment, and Commissioning. Please carefully note the times each course is offered when filling out your registration choices. You may cross mix the colleges as many offer courses that are not age or program specific but may benefit all Scouters. Scheduling time for the Midway is an option for your schedule also. Feel free to mix and match classes among the colleges.
