An overview of the principles of both Leave No Trace and TreadLightly! will be demonstrated through interactive games and group activities.
This is an ideal training for Scouts taking on the new Troop leadership role of Outdoor Ethics Guide, Adults who will be lead activities in Outdoor Ethics with Packs, Troops, and Venture Crews, and older Scouts looking at participating in High Adventure activities. Be an Outdoor Ethics advocate, and help reduce the impact while camping, hiking, backpacking and other outdoor recreation.
Participants will be challenged to consider how you, your Crew, Troop or Pack, make ethical decisions when recreating in the outdoors. Additionally, the course will cover the steps to complete the BSA Outdoor Ethics program.
