2017 Chief Tarhe
January 28, 2017
The Boy Scout Klondike Derby is a wintertime Scouting event in which scouts in a patrol use a sled (that they built) to transport their equipment over the outdoor terrain and follow a route to various stations. Our judges at the different stations will provide patrols with competitive challenges.
Each station is designed for either the demonstration of a scouting skill or an opportunity to show your Scouting knowledge. Station topics include scouting skills such as knots, lashings, first-aid, compass, map reading camping, cooking, etc.
Patrols will be scored and awarded will be given to recognize the top scoring patrols.
Units that wish may camp on Friday and/or Saturday night.
