Winter Wacky Fun Day

at Camp Stigwandish

Who Should Attend?: Cub Scouts (Lions through WEBELOS), Leaders and Family Members aged 4 - 10
Events:  Unicorn tracking, Escape Room, Magical Spells, Potions class, Quidditch, Wizards chess, Sledding Competition 
What to Bring: One can of soup each (broth based), a mug for hot chocolate or soup, outdoor weather appropriate clothing, helmet, and sled of one 's own creation
Sled Design Categories:  Best: Dragon, Castle, Wizard/Witch, Hogwarts house, Scout theme, Most colorful, Largest, Smallest, Most Duct tape used, (more categories may be determined if you have a really cool sled)  
                           MUST HAVE A HELMET WHEN SLEDDING!!

MAKING YOUR CARDBOARD SLED

• Any size cardboard box or combination of boxes

• Decorate, have fun use your imagination

• Remember safety is number one consideration when making sled. 

• no protruding parts

• Must have a helmet when sledding 

• Sleds will be inspected before race to ensure for safety

BOTTOM of SLED DO’s & DONT’s:
DONT’S

• NO runners on the bottom (non-cardboard)

• NO plastic sheeting on the bottom

• NO pvc piping 

• NO wood

DO’S

• Use Duct Tape or Gorilla Tape

• Wax the bottom to make it go faster

• Have Fun Creating & Building, make it sturdy to last
