Location: USCG Station Lorain, 110 Alabama Ave, Lorain, Ohio
The US Coast Guard Auxiliary will be holding SAFETY AT SEA 2022. SAFETY AT SEA is a day-long camp for SEA SCOUTS.
There will be several educational and fun activity stations - including a kayak course, a signal flare shoot-off, line-handling games, and more.
The purpose of Safety at Sea is to support Recreational Boating Safety, to promote the relationship between the Sea Scouts and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, and to expose Sea Scouts to the US Coast Guard.
Participation is limited to the first 50 Scouts who register.
PRICING:
Participant Scout: $25, which includes T-Shirt and Lunch
Adult Leader Lunch: $7.50
Additional T-Shirt: $17.50
Scouts should dress for the activities of the day: possibly hot weather and sunshine, definite water immersion, etc. Flexibility and Preparedness in clothing will win the day.
Scouts will be required to provide a signed BSA Release/Health form (Parts A, B1, and B2 only), an Activity Consent Form and an AUX/BSA Photo Release form. Please see the attachment section for the forms.
