NYLT/Wood Badge Alumni Event

Attention Scouts, Scouters, and family members! We are holding an NYLT/Wood Badge Alumni Event on September 17, 2022, from noon-3:00 PM at Firelands Scouting Reservation/Camp Wyandot. All NYLT and Wood Badge alumni are encouraged to bring their families and other Scouts and Scout leaders to reminisce about “the good old days” when you did your advanced leadership training.

The event begins with a cook-out lunch, so arrive hungry. Photos, videos, and memorabilia of previous courses will be on display. We will then have a group discussion about your successes and challenges in implementing the program’s teachings in your units. Afterward, we will have your favorite field games set up for you and your guests to enjoy.

Did you take the course before the syllabus changed? Try the new games. Did you attend after? Well, then you can try the old games! The challenges will be set up for folks of all ages and capabilities.

Come out, have a good meal, meet great friends, and most of all – have fun!

Proceeds from this event will go toward the scholarship fund for Scouts attending National Youth Leadership Training and Scouters attending Wood Badge. 

2022 PRICING (Youth and Adult)

• Choice of Chicken or Steak: $25.00

• Choice of Hamburger or Hot Dog: $15

• Vegetarian/Vegan: $15

• No meal: $10

• Supporters not able to attend the event are welcome to make a donation to support future advanced trainings in Lake Erie Council
