Have you seen the mobile climbing walls owned by Lake Erie Council? We make these state-of-the-art walls available to Units to use for their own programs! 

In order to facilitate your own Unit event with the climbing walls, you must take this local training to get hands-on time with transportation, setup, and facilitation of a safe climbing program for your Scouts.

The Lake Erie Council is excited to offer an adventurous experience to Units to utilize in their program plans and recruitment efforts to deliver the promise of Scouting in the form of two mobile climbing towers!

These state-of-the-art climbing walls can be transported all around our council simply by hooking them up to a hitch on the back of a 1/2-ton or larger vehicle with a 2 5/16" hitch, and then they’re ready for action. The walls can be set up on any dry, level ground — including parking lots, compact dirt, and lawns!

The climbing wall rental includes everything you need to enable the fun, such as harnesses, helmets, “safety-zone” barriers, sign-in sheets, and printed rules. You’ll also need two trained facilitators in charge of your event. This could be members of your Unit who have passed the LEC Mobile Climbing Tower Training, or a member of our Facilitator Corp. Facilitators must be at least 21 years of age or older and have an up to date Youth Protection Training.These trainings will be offered for FREE to adult members of Lake Erie Council. It is greatly appreciated to have volunteers help with our varous events!

Rentals are made on a one-per-day (12-hour) basis. Though you may not be running the wall for the full 12-hours, your rental will be made for a 12-hour period.

**Trainings require re-certification every year.**
