Candy Land: The Camporee

Spring Camporee 2022 @ Firelands Scout Reservation

Events:

Gumdrop Mountains: 

Rifle - Come test your marksmanship in a camp-wide competition!

Archery - Are you a real-life Robin Hood? Let’s find out!

Shotgun Shooting: Take your shot at 5 candy clays to see how you stand up to your patrol. 

Lord Licorice 

Hurt Victim - Use first aid skills to assess the situation and save the life of a CPR dummy 

Dispatcher 101 - Use signs, signals, and codes to send a message to princess gumdrop to save her from Lord Licorice. 

Rockets - Build and Launch Rockets! All program supplies will be provided. 

Fishing for marshmallows in the hot chocolate river! 

Chocolate Swamp 

Tent City - Race the clock to build a shelter and a fire big enough for survival.

Trash Can Basketball - Earn points for every trash can you shoot a ball into. 

Animal Identification - Put your knowledge of tracking to the test. With a number of animals in the area, they might now play a part in our investigation.

Orienteering: Each patrol will take their turn on the game board, and pull a color card and find the coordinate to the next stop on the game! 

At check-in, each troop will be assigned a character from the game! 

Other Activities: 

Dutch Oven Cookoff - Each patrol will have to make a dessert with lunch with a secret ingredient of a candy! 

Camp-wide Candy Hunt: Use your skills to locate every piece of candy placed everywhere around camp. At each location, there will be a clue that will lead you around the game board. 

Guess the gumdrops! See if your patrol can guess how many gumdrops there are for each event.
