Let's Make a Deal Klondike Derby

Klondike Derby is a fun-filled winter activity patterned after the Gold Rush Days in the Yukon. Patrols build sledges like the early prospectors used as they hunted for gold. The members of your patrol will serve as the team of huskies to pull your patrol’s sledge around our course. Your patrol will visit a number of stations,where your patrol will be confronted with a problem requiring a Scout skill to solve. Depending on how well your patrol works out the problem, you will receive a number of points.

Dress your best, and sharpen up your negotiating skills, it's time for your Patrol to MAKE A DEAL! You'll compete against other Troops in challenging and entertaining events like Deal or No Deal, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Cash Cab, Gold Rush, The Weakest Link, The Amazing Race, The Price is Right, 1 vs 100, Family Feud, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Gilligan's Island, and more!

Meals

Plan A: Eat what the cooks give you! Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are provided Saturday.

Plan B: Eat what you cook for yourself! You do all the cooking. Your Unit will be responsible for all meals in the campsite.

Campsites

Campsite rental is included in participant cost. Campsites will be assigned one week prior to the event. Contact Janet Jury (440-813-6235) if you have campsite preferences. Cabin rentals are separate from participant registration.

Event Cost

Early Bird price ends at 11:59pm on January 20.

Registration closes at 11:59pm on February 3, and you may not be guaranteed a spot if trying to add participants after that date. If you add or pay for participants after registration closes, the late price applies.
