Snow Sports Merit Badge

Join us for an afternoon of winter fun! Scouts will learn how to plan and execute winter sports activities safely while experiencing a snowshoeing adventure at Kent State University. 

Saturday Feburary 15th, 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm (max 24 Scouts) 

Sunday Feburary 16th, 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm (max 24 Scouts) 

Costs

• Early Bird - Ends 1/18/2025: $55 per Scout (includes Snow Shoe rental)
• Regular - Starts 1/19/2025: $65 per Scout (includes Snow Shoe rental)

• Review the What to Expect letter from the Kent State Recreation Department
• Participants are required to fill out a Hold Harmless Agreement and Pre-Screening Form
• Please also have a BSA Medical Form, Parts A and B with you at the event.

We will be utilizing the snow-shoeing option to complete the requirements.

Please arrive with the proper clothing in order to satisfy Requirement 5: Present yourself properly clothed and equipped for snowshoeing.  Discuss how the clothing you have chosen will help keep you warm and protected.
