We are excited to announce the return of summer Cub Scout overnight camps. S'more Cub Adventures are 2 weekends of Cub Scout activities that are designed to help Cub Scouts in Tigers through Arrow of Light complete adventures for their rank requirements.
The adventure begins Friday with fellowship and relaxation under the stars. Saturday and Sunday scouts with their families or dens will participate in a variety of fun and exciting activities throughout the day that will help them complete requirements for required and elective Adventures for their ranks. These activities will be scheduled so that packs/dens can make their plans for what they want to accomplish. While many of these programs will be open to whoever wants to participate, some activities, such as woodcraft building, will be scheduled to give all campers an opportunity to participate. Activities will connect with requirements in the adventures listed below. Some activities will cover requirements from multiple ranks.
Every camper will have the chance to visit the lake, the ranges, and the climbing tower. After dinner on Saturday, the whole camp will join together at the akela fire ring to sing songs, perform skits, and tell stories. After the fire, Scouts can roast marshmallows and make s'mores. This fun-filled weekend promises to be a great experience for all who attend.
Food Service:
Packs, Dens, and families should plan to make most of their meals at camp. Lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday! Refreshments and snacks are available at the trading post during the day on Friday and Saturday. We will also provide an option for campers to order pizzas for Saturday night that will be delivered to camp for pick-up at the Lake Lodge.
