Service at the Beach

This event is open to the first 100 people.

Join the Lake Erie Council at the Geneva State Park for a weekend of service and camping on the beach!

Troops will arrive on Friday evening between 6pm and 8 pm to set up camp in the designated area on the beach.

Cub Scout Packs are welcome to participate during the day on Saturday.

Breakfast will be from 7 am to 8:30 am.

Cost:  $3.00 per participant (This is to cover the cost of patches)

Program:

We will work on conservation projects in the park from 9 am to Noon and 1:30 pm to 5 pm...The projects will be determined by the Ranger.

Please bring conservation tools.

Dinner is 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Check Out on Sunday starts at 8 am and will run thru 9:30 am.

Food:  Units are responsible for their own food and are also asked to bring basic yard work supplies: gloves, ranks, shovels, and trash pickers.

All Participants need to fill out and bring the fillable ODNR Participation Waiver to the event.  Please look at the registration attachments.

(Troops can set up camp stoves and above ground charcoal/fire pits for cooking....Nothing directly on the beach.)

During free time after clean-up efforts, units are welcome to fish, bike or hike around the area.
