Spring Scavenger Hunt
Spring Scavenger Hunt
Firelands Scout Reservation, April 13
Riddle Me This!
There are few things that bring as much joy as finding something that was lost or cracking a code! As Scouts, we’ve been navigating, searching, and scavenging for over 100 years and it’s time to prove those skills. Practical skills will only get you so far, though, this year you'll need to use the riddle-solving part of your mind to get ahead too!
Join us at Firelands Scout Reservation on April 13th to compete in the 2nd Annual Spring Scavenger Hunt for ALL Scouts! This time we’re calling in the Cubs, Webelos, Scouts BSA, Venturers, and Sea Scouts to show off their skills.
Your Unit will choose between three levels of scavenging for the challenge right for your Scouts. Whether it’s showing off basic compass work, putting GPS to use for geocaching, or combining the challenge of both land and water navigation, there’s a challenge right for your Scouts.
Complete the challenge at each hidden location to score enough “eggs” to get your Unit into the upper prize tier of our Extreme Easter Egg Hunt at the end of the day! There will be some great prizes that are worth your while in those eggs.
We invite those competing in the intermediate and advanced-level courses to camp out the night before and attend a refresher course to make sure you’re prepared for Saturday.
