Schedule
Zoom classes take place at the same time for each of the days listed on the registration, though some of that time is set aside for homework. It will be rare that a zoom class goes for the full allotted time.
Cost
- Early Bird Fee: $15.00
- Regular Fee: $20.00 (Starts 7 days before the first scheduled session)
Registration is open until midnight the day before the first scheduled session.
Class size is limited to 14 Scouts!
Scouts may be required to purchase supplies to complete the merit badge. Details will be found in the program guide of the registration page.
Badges Offered

While we try to limit the amount of pre-work is required and rely on homework instead, some badges do have items to prepare for ahead of time....Please see the attachment section in the event registration.
Citizenship in the World
Scouts explore what it means to be a member of the global community while working on the Citizenship in the World merit badge. They learn about international law and international organizations such as the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and the European Union. Scouts also find out about relationships between nations and the role of the US State Department and ambassadors. Environmental Science
Scouts learn about ecology, pollution, endangered species, pollination by bees, and other environmental topics while working on the Environmental Science merit badge. Citizenship in the Nation
Scouts working on the Citizenship in the Nation merit badge learn about the rights, duties, and obligations of United States citizens. They explore important places in our nation and learn to keep up with national events. They also investigate the importance of documents like the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Scouts also find out about the branches of our federal government and how they compliment and balance each other. Communications
Scouts learn about oral, written, visual, and digital methods of sharing information while working on the Communication merit badge. They share stories and information, participate in an interview, attend a public meeting, and plan a Court of Honor or campfire program. They also explore careers in the field of communication.
Architecture
Scouts working on the Architecture merit badge learn about how the design of buildings impacts their use and the environment. They also explore careers related to architecture.
Collections
While working on the Collections merit badge, Scouts learn to collect, categorize, and preserve items they appreciate. They also learn about career opportunities related to collecting.
Pre-reqs:
Familiarize yourself with all the requirements of the merit badge.
-Think about, and write down answers for requirement #2. Be prepared to discuss this requirement during our session.
-Write out your responses to requirements #1, #3a and 3b. Be prepared to either report your responses during our session, or email responses to me.
- Be prepared to share you answers to #3c, 5b, 5f and 6.
-Please email answers to 5a, 5c, 5d 5e and requirements #4, 7 and 8.
