The Life Skills Badge helps Scouts develop a variety of practical skills that are essential for independent living and personal growth. It covers areas such as health, household management, finance, social interactions, employment readiness, and transportation. Scouts learn how to maintain their physical and mental well-being, manage personal finances, care for their living spaces, communicate effectively with others, explore career options, and safely navigate transportation systems. By completing the requirements, Scouts gain valuable tools for responsible decision-making and become better prepared to take on adult responsibilities.

This is being presented in compliance with the Test Lab Life Skills requirements. Life Skills is in the Test Lab until June 2026, when it will then determine badge status. To learn more about the Test Lab, visit https://www.scouting.org/skills/merit-badges/test-lab/life-skills/

$25 Per Scout 
$40 total if attending 2 Life Skills sessions 
$55 total if attending 3 Life Skills sessions

Programs at The Adventure Lab require a minimum of 4 students per program to ensure proper engagement and program quality. Should this number not be met 5 days before the scheduled program, registrations will be refunded and the program will be cancelled. Should the program be rescheduled, students will need to re-register for the program.
