There are governing laws that guide our society from a community to a global level. Learn about the history and kinds of laws, the purpose and methods of law enforcement, consumer protection agencies, emerging law, and careers in the legal profession. Take part in a mock-trial to understand how varying roles within the justice system work. With adequate and complete work at home before or after and active, on-task participation during the session, Scouts can expect to complete the Law Merit Badge.
