WHY ATTEND?

The Leave No Trace recreational skills course emphasizes best practices and techniques essential to minimum-impact outdoor ethics and education. WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Everyone with a desire to learn the best practices for ethical outdoor adventures can benefit from this course. In particular, BSA youth members who may be crew leaders on high adventure treks, instructing younger Scouts (Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA members), or conducting backcountry and frontcountry experiences with family and friends, is a candidate for this recreational skills course.

Participants taking the two-day Leave No Trace Recreational Skills Course learn Leave No Trace skills and ethics, and have several opportunities to practice these low-impact techniques during the course.
