Family Fun Camp is a three-day, two-night resident experience that is designed for the whole family! It follows a less-structured schedule with carnival-style programming so that campers can participate in the activities that they enjoy. Many program areas will be Cub Scout-focused; however, siblings and Boy Scouts are also welcome. Boy Scouts and Boy Scout-aged siblings will have the opportunity to participate in some programs just for them, including the chance to earn Eagle-required merit badges. Family Fun Camp gets everyone outdoors together, and provides countless opportunities for youngsters to show their parents what camp is like, and for them to participate together in all that Scouting offers.

Activities will include swimming, nature/ecology, shooting sports, games, arts & crafts, hiking, campfires and more. Families should prepare to meet leadership requirements of two-deep leadership if members outside the immediate family attend.

At Family Fun Camp, campers will camp in their personal tents, or may request a rustic cabin at the time of their reservation.

WHO IS INVITED?

The WHOLE family! We are excited to open Stigwandish to the community for families to come to enjoy the great outdoors together! From youngsters to teens, parents to grandparents, all are invited. Even though we are the Boy Scouts of America, Family Fun Camp is a co-ed program. All siblings, boys and girls, are welcome to participate!

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

While at Stigwandish, your family will tent camp in the campsites, or in a limited number of cabins that will be available for reservation as well!

The first night will feature a Cracker Barrel (evening snack) and welcoming program in the Dining Hall at 8PM. Friday is all about Open Program when your family will be able to participate in fishing, swimming, boating, shooting, archery, camp crafts, hiking, scouting skills, nature and conservation, and much more -- all done carnival-style at your leisure! Many activities will be designed for younger youth, but older teens will also find activities to fit their level of adventure!

Friday evening will conclude with a world-class fireworks show for Red, White, and Boom! We'll head over to Beaumont Scout Reservation for some fun and games, dinner, and campfire program. Our skits, songs, and jokes will keep you laughing, fit to burst! 

We'll finish up Saturday morning with a delicious breakfast and closing ceremony before heading safely home!

You do not have to register for both Family Camp and RWB — just one will do.
