We invite candidates wishing to complete their Ordeal, Ordeal members seeking to seal their membership in Brotherhood, and all Arrowmen looking for an exciting weekend filled with cheerful service.

Step into the realm of Honor, Brotherhood, and Service. Hear the call of the kingdom and answer the call for the next stop on the trail. At our medieval-themed Summer Induction, candidates will enter a realm of honor, Brotherhood, and service as they continue their journey in the Order of the Arrow.

Brotherhood opportunity for eligible members!

*Packing list for Ordeal candidates: Ground tarp, sleeping bag, work clothes (e.g. jeans, long-sleeve shirt), work gloves, water bottle, shower gear, Scouting America field uniform, change of clothes (for Sunday), rain gear, and a tent (for Saturday night only) all in a day pack or small backpack that can be carried.

Lodging for all attendees will be tents. Cabin space will be available for those with medical issues who require it. Please email lodgeadviser@erielhonan.org to request cabin space and be aware: cabin space is limited.

ALL attendees must have a full Scouting America field uniform, turn in a current Scouting America medical form (Parts A, B1, & B2), and turn in a filled out Activity Acknowledgement Form to participate.

Arrival Times:

All Attendees are asked to arrive Friday evening at staggered times based on the county they reside in:

Ashtabula, Geauga, and Lake Counties - 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Cuyahoga and Summit Counties - 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Erie, Huron, and Lorain Counties - 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM

If you plan to attend only on Saturday please notify membership@erielhonan.org so we can have a check-in team available for you.

Ordeal candidates are required to arrive no later than 9:30 PM on Friday evening and be present until at least 4 PM Saturday afternoon.

Event Cost

OA Member: $25 early-bird, $30 regular, and $35 late fee 

Ordeal Candidate: $55 (includes sash, handbook, lodge flap, and 2026 dues) regular fee

REFUND POLICY
A full refund will only be provided if one of the following events happens:

The event is canceled by Erielhonan Lodge.

A registrant contracts COVID-19 or is placed in quarantine for COVID-19.

Otherwise, the standard refund policy applies:

Cancellation 14 or more days before the event results in a full refund less a $5 fee.

Cancellation 7 to 13 days before the event results in a full refund less a $10 fee.

Cancellation 6 days or less before the event results in no refund.
