Cub Leader Position-Specific Training

Thank you for volunteering to be a new leader in your Cub Pack!

Whether you are a Den Leader, Assistant Den Leader, Cubmaster, Assistant Cubmaster or a member of the Pack Committee, this training will cover all the basics to start leading your youth on their Scouting journey.  You will learn not only your role in scouting but also the roles of the other leaders, how everything works together and the support to keep from burning yourself out.

Safeguarding Youth Training (Y01) is a prerequisite for this course. It can be taken online at my.scouting.org.

You will need your Scout Uniform, outdoor layers appropriate to the weather, a water bottle and a mug.  Lunch (pizza) will be provided.

The west-side session will be held in Lake Lodge - the dining hall on the Wyandot side of Firelands Scout Reservation.
The east-side session will be in the Environmental Resource Center at Beaumont Scout Reservation.

Detailed directions (including parking recommendations) will be emailed a few days before training.
