Rangemaster Training
Rangemaster Training- this training will enable you to supervise Cub Scouts for Range and Target Sports on Council Properties. The certification is good for Two (2) years, and covers safe range procedures for BBs, Archery, Wrist Rockets (sling shots), and Bottle Rockets.
Lunch will be provided.
In Person Training:
- Saturday, March 14 @ Firelands Scout Reservation: 9:00 AM - 5:00 p.m.
- Training will take place at the Camp Avery Hand BB & Archery Ranges
Notes:
- If you have NRA Rifle Instructor, you can run a Cub BB range or wrist rocket (slingshot) range without taking rangemaster.
- If you have Level 1 Archery or Above, you can run a Cub Archery range without taking rangemaster.
- In order to take this course, you must have a current valid certificate in Safeguarding Youth Training, Hazardous Weather Training, and Range Activities Safety Training. All of trainings can be found through my.scouting.org.
- There must be a minimum of three attendees for the course to take place.
