Manatoc Valley Challenge **POSTPONED**

EVENT POSTPONED UNTIL 2026.

New to the Camp Manatoc summer camp program, the Manatoc Valley Challenge is a provisional week opportunity for 10 Scouts ages 14-17.  This program is geared for older Scouts to participate in activities such as backpacking, climbing, cycling, and more. Participants will go beyond the borders Manatoc Scout Reservation daily into Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Summit Metro Parks while participating in unique activities such as backpacking, riding the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, kayaking the Cuyahoga River, fishing at Kendall Lake, and more. During this week, participants will earn the 50-Miler, a BSA Leave No Trace Basics Certificate, the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge, the Bird Study Merit Badge (for those who want to participate), and requirements from several other Merit Badges through our adventures.

An informational meeting for Scouts and their parent/guardian who are interested in this program will be held on April 23rd at 7:00 PM in the Lewis Family Conference Center at Camp Manatoc.  Register for the meeting HERE. Those who sign up for the manatoc Valley Challenge must participate in a minimum of three scheduled shakedowns. Please see the attached documents for more details.
