The event will be cancelled if as of 30 days before the event, no one is signed up. 

A Troop has the opportunity to reserve a Date and Time Slot from the list of available dates to participate in Two (2) Target and Range Activities. Each Scout should only be signed up for 1 day of programming. Duplicate registrations will be deleted. 

As a part of the Adventure Fee Programs a Troop may only reserve one Date and Time per Year.

All Dates and Time Slots will be filled on a First Come/First Serve Reservation Basis.

Please meet at the Training Lodge Shelter prior to your start time for your session. 

Smaller Troops can reserve a Time Slot for up to 16 Scouts and there can be 2 Troops per Time Slot utilizing 2 Ranges.  They will switch Ranges half way through and participate in both activities.

Larger Troops can reserve a Time Slot for up to 32 Scouts and there will be 1 Troop per Time Slot utilizing 2 Ranges.  They will switch Ranges half way through and participate in both activities.

There will be a Maximum of 16 Participants at one time on any given Range.

Time Slots are 2 ½ Hours in length and will be 9:00 am – 11:30 am, 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm, and 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm.

The 2 ½ hour time slot includes the Range Safety Briefings, Travel Time between Ranges, and Shooting Time.

NRA Instructors, NRA Range Safety Officers, and USA Archery Instructors will be in charge of the Ranges.  If a Troop has Adults with any of these Certifications it would be very helpful in conducting these Programs.  Training is available to obtain the Certifications through the Great Trail Council.

Every youth participant MUST bring a signed copy of the RATA Waiver, found on this page.
