It is necessary for Packs to register and pay as a UNIT.
Great Trail Council Scouts will automatically receive a $25.00 discout as part fo the GTC Adventure Fee program.
Cub Scout Packs must organize and attend Resident Camp as a group. Attending individually, without their pack or den or adult leadership, is strongly discouraged. It forces us to place them in another unit, with Scouts and adults they do not know that has the required leadership.
Please check with your Cubmaster or Webelos Den Leader to see if your Pack is planning to send leadership, or sign up with your child as an adult chaperone/leader (don't forget YPT!)
There is a HARD limit of 250 participants (youth and adult combined) per session in 2025
Steps to register:
- Gather the Pack and determine the number of Scouts and Leaders that will be attending overnight camp. All Ranks are allowed to join!
- Create a registration for the ENTIRE PACK.
- Following the registration form, complete a registration contact, indicate the number of youth and adults you are intending to attend.
- Pay the $100.00 deposit for the Pack. (This is part of your total bill.)
- Beginning April 28 you may assign camper names and make payments beyond the $100.00 deposit.

Regarding Adult Leadership from NCAP Standards HS-502 for the Cub Scout Resident (Overnight) Camp
B. Minimum leadership requirements.
1. The minimum leadership requirements for any Cub Scout unit attending long-term camp is a ratio of two adults to a maximum of eight youth and one additional adult for each four additional youth (or part thereof).
2. The minimum leadership requirement for other unit-based camps and programs is two leaders with each unit as provided in Scouting America’s Youth Protection Policies, including having one registered female adult, age 21 or older, in every unit serving female youth.
