Racers! Start your engines for the Lake Agassiz District Pinewood Derby!

Come race your derby car in either of our two heats, Stock Class and Open Class.

This is your chance to race against Tony the District Executive's car and see if you built a faster car than him!  (It shouldn't be hard, he's not very good at building cars!) 

There is no cost to register for the event, just let us know how many to expect.

Class descriptions

• Stock ClassParticipants: Current registered Cub Scouts of any rank
  • Also eligible for Open Class Heat
  • Rules: Official Scout Shop Rules, found here: Pinewood Derby Rules
• Open Class
  • Participants: All registered Scouts, Leaders, and parents/guardians
  • Rules: Anything goes; EXCEPT, cars that may damage the facility, pyrotechnics, compressed cylinders, explosives, etc.
    • Race Volunteers or Nelson Auto staff have the final say if a car may race
