Welcome to Cub Scout Wild Wild West Adventure Camp!

Located just south of Glen Ullin, ND on the Lake Tschida reservoir, Heart Butte Scout Reservation is roughly 70 miles west of Bismarck and 65 miles east of Dickinson. Wild Wild West Cub Adventure Camp at Heart Butte offers first rate family adventure including archery, BB guns, aquatics, crafts, fishing, games, a campfire variety show, and much more! All camping is in tents and hot meals are served daily in the dining hall. Come for adventure, advancement, and achievement while enjoying time with friends and family.

What to Expect:

This year’s camp promises to immerse your Scout in the spirit of the Wild West with a variety of activities designed to entertain and challenge. Some of the highlights include:

Crafts: Channel your inner cowboy or cowgirl as you create Wild West-themed crafts to take home and show off!

Fishing: Try your hand at fishing and learn the basics of catching some of the local fish.

BB Guns: Sharpen your aim and have fun practicing your skills at the BB gun range!

Archery: Test your focus and precision with a bow and arrow as you participate in archery sessions.

Theme Night:

Get ready for a Wild West Extravaganza during our special Theme Night! Your Scout will enjoy:

Live Horses and Carriage Rides: Experience a true Wild West atmosphere with live horses and a fun carriage ride around camp.

Wild West Games and Activities: Compete in cowboy-themed challenges such as sack races, tug-of-war, and more!

The camp is designed to offer a range of activities that will not only introduce your Scout to classic Western experiences but also help them develop important skills and make lasting memories. Whether your Scout is fishing by the lake, taking aim at the BB gun range, or enjoying the excitement of theme night, there will be something for everyone!
