Northern Lights Council's 50th Anniversary Celebration Camporall

The Northern Lights Council is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2024, and with that, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 50th Anniversary Celebration Camporall on August 16-18, 2024 in the beautiful badlands of Medora, North Dakota! What is Provided: The price for all Scouts and leaders registered by August 1, 2024 at 11:59 PM CDT is $75 and the price if registered after August 1 is $90. All meals are provided (includes Friday crackerbarrell, Saturday breakfast and bagged lunch, Saturday pitchfork steak fondue, and Sunday breakfast). Also included in the prices is admission to the Medora Musical, camping space, and most programs and merit badges. Units should plan on bringing their own tents and camping equipment. Please view the Leaders Guide in the Attachments section for a list of all activities being offered.

Activity Sessions: Some activity options (such as Horseback Trek, High Ropes, and Point-to-Point Park) will incur an additional fee per person. Every Scout and adult may enroll in activities throughout all 8 sessions taking place from Friday through Sunday, however, you do not have to fill each session with an activity. We recommend leaving one or two slots empty so that you can take time to explore Medora at your leisure and see the Roughrider Festival. But, some activities may fill up quick, so if there is something specific you would like to do, please make sure you sign up for the activity. Every unit should be on one registration.

Remember that everyone in attendance must pre-register for at least one session to complete the Service Project.

Other Reminders: Reminder that all events at Medora are in Mountain Time. Check-in for the event will take place from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM MDT on Friday south of the Medora Campground (3370 Pool Dr, Medora, ND). No dinner is provided on Friday. BSA ID numbers are required for Scouts BSA adult registration to ensure Youth Protection standards are met. Scouts BSA troops will be camping separate from Cub Scout packs in accordance with national policy - packs and troops should not plan on sharing adult leadership with each other!

Volunteer Staff: Adults can sign up as staff for $30, but must be cleared by the planning committee before registering for this option. Otherwise, those over 18 should register as adults for the event at $75. If interested in staffing, please contact Jefri at 701-373-1420 or jefrij@outlook.com.
