NYLT is a 5-day training course for youth leaders registered in Scouts BSA, Venturing or Sea Scouts. Before registering, please get a troop leader recommendation. While NYLT is not an outdoor skills course, it is important that each participant has basic camping and outdoor cooking experience.

Participants are required to attend the entire time period (Morning of June 10 through afternoon of June 14). Participants may arrive after 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 9 and stay over the evening before the course start if they would like.

A complete leaders guide and required forms for signature is included in the Welcome Letter in the attachments section. Those who register by April 1 will be guaranteed their shirt size selection. Those registered after April 1 will still be able to select a shirt size, but there is a small chance we wont be able to provide the exact size.
