The Tomahawk District Invites Your Scout Troop to help us find our Lost Scout! Bring your Compass, your Hiking Staff, your telescope, your thirst for adventure.

How will you find our Lost Scout?

Through Exploration of the clues, being guided by the Stars, marching forth on a roundtrip hike to Minot's Newest Outdoor Park, Following the clues around the Park, Using and Learning Orienteering Skills, Deciphering Signs, Signals, & Codes, then and only then will you find our Lost Scout and Win the Western Trophy

Cub Scouts Packs are invited to a Family Campout at the Big 4’s Basketball Course and Basketball Pavilion. Enjoy the Basketball court, Gaga Ball Pit, Carpetball, and big field in the morning, and take time to enjoy shooting sports ranges in the afternoon. Special day passes for a nominal fee will be available on Saturday or Sunday at the Roosevelt Park Zoo.

Friday Night we will kick off with night sky observations following the opening campfire. Cracker barrel to follow. Saturday morning, we will have morning assembly and then Hike 1 mile to Minot's new Outdoor Recreation Area Park, just north of the Green Thumb Greenhouse Berry Acres Pumpkin Patch.  After lunch we will hike back to The Big 4, Continuing at Camp seeking out the clues and having challenges all along the way. Saturday Night we will have a victorious campfire to celebrate the Scout Patrol that found our Scout quickest. Saturday morning, we celebrate the wonder of nature and the divine and then send you and your Scouts on their way to a Summer of Adventure.

Northern Lights Council Trading Post will be open Friday Night, Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Morning with cool 2023 Summer Camp Swag and fun Scout Supplies from Wilderness, Heart Butte, Butler and from the Northern Lights Scout Shops. Patch, and Lunch provided on Saturday.

Following the conclusion of the Spring Camporee, Scouts and their families are invited to go to the Roosevelt Park Zoo for a nominal price. To get this price the Zoo tickets must be ordered by May 18th.
