Join us for a weekend of leadership, fellowship, training, and fun at Pa-Hin Lodge’s annual Lodge Leadership Development (LLD) Retreat on October 30 to November 1 at Camp Grafton Training Center near Devils Lake, ND.

LLD is open to every Arrowman, whether you currently serve in a leadership position, hope to take on a leadership role in the future, or simply want to strengthen your skills and become more involved in the lodge. The weekend is designed to develop practical leadership skills, build relationships, and strengthen our lodge.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll offer five youth-led training modules focused on leadership within the Order of the Arrow and our service to local units. Topics will include performing effectively in your role, member retention, relationship building, vision and goal setting, turning ideas into action, and more. Our lodge officer team and invited guests will lead the sessions and share practical tools and experiences.

We’ll also have two unique programs led by staff from the North Dakota National Guard at Camp Grafton. The EST is a simulated laser army weapons range, while the VCOT is a driving simulator that securely buckles participants into seats and provides a realistic simulated vehicle rollover experience. These are the same types of training programs used by National Guard personnel.

Alongside the training, there will be plenty of time for fellowship, including movie night, team games, and other activities. Participants will also have opportunities to help shape the future of Pa-Hin Lodge by contributing to plans for conclaves and elections, patch design, recognition programs, camp promotion, and more.

The weekend will include our Lodge Executive Committee meeting, where we’ll work to establish the 2027 schedule and budget, as well as the Vigil Honor Committee meeting to select the 2026 Vigil Honor recipients.

Lodging will be in Camp Grafton barracks with mattresses, restrooms, and shower facilities. Meals are included, with Crackerbarrel Friday night, all meals Saturday, and breakfast Sunday. Saturday dinner will be served in the Camp Grafton dining hall. Pack much as you would for a lock-in, including your Scout uniform and sash, comfortable clothing, warm outdoor clothing for Saturday afternoon, and personal overnight essentials.

Registration is now open, with early registration costing only $20. All lodging, meals, training, and activities are included. Remember that anyone over the age of 18 must bring a photo ID (such as a drivers license) to enter the main gate at Camp Grafton.
