Welcome to Cub Scout Far Far Away Adventure Camp!

Cub Scouts of all ages, along with their noble parents and valiant leaders, are invited to embark on an enchanting adventure in the magical, faraway land this summer! During your quest, you'll discover a world of knights, fairies, dragons, and daring deeds at camp!

Located just south of Glen Ullin, ND on the Lake Tschida reservoir, Heart Butte Scout Reservation is roughly 70 miles west of Bismarck and 65 miles east of Dickinson. Far Far Away Cub Adventure Camp at Heart Butte offers first rate family adventure including archery, BB guns, crafts, fishing, games, a campfire variety show, and much more! All camping is in tents and hot meals are served daily in the dining hall. Come for adventure, advancement, and achievement while enjoying time with friends and family.

Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime at Cub Camp at Heart Butte Scout Reservation! This year’s theme is FAR FAR AWAY, and we are thrilled to offer your Cub Scout an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, skill-building, and fun in the great outdoors.

What to Expect:

This year’s camp promises to immerse your Scout in the spirit of Medieval Times with a variety of activities designed to entertain and challenge. Some of the highlights include:

Crafts: Channel your knight, prince/princess, king/queen, adventurer, dragon, or fairy as you create Far Far Away-themed crafts to take home and show off!

Fishing: Try your hand at fishing and learn the basics of catching some of the local fish.

BB Guns: Sharpen your aim and have fun practicing your skills at the BB gun range!

Archery: Test your focus and precision with a bow and arrow as you participate in archery sessions.

Theme Night:

Get ready for a magical evening during our special Theme Night! Your Scout will enjoy:

Magical Experiences: Experience magic all around camp!

Magical and Activities: Particpate in magical events and competitions!

The camp is designed to offer a range of activities that will not only introduce your Scout to classic fairytale experiences but also help them develop important skills and make lasting memories. Whether your Scout is fishing by the lake, taking aim at the BB gun range, or enjoying the excitement of theme night, there will be something for everyone!
