2027 Scouts BSA Summer Camp

Nestled in the heart of the Paul Bunyan State Forest in Central Minnesota, we are a premier 2,400-acre Scouts BSA camp.  The camp is nationally recognized and fully accredited by the BSA.  Our programs have been featured in both Boys Life and Scouting Magazines.  In operation since 1945, this beautiful camp has met the needs of Scouts and leaders for over 70 years.  We look forward to welcoming you and your troop to Camp Wilderness!

Camp Dates:

• Week 1; June 20-26
• Week 2: June 27-July 3
• Week 3: July 4-10
• Week 4: July 11-17
• Week 5 July 18-24

Activities Include:

Merit Badges: From environmental science to swimming, Scouts can choose from a broad range of merit badge opportunities.

ATV Riding: Feel the thrill of navigating the trails and learning responsible ATV operation.

COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience): Develop teamwork, problem-solving skills, and personal strength in our ropes course and challenge activities.

Climbing: Whether you're a beginner or an experienced climber, the camp offers safe and exciting climbing experiences.

Shooting Sports: Try your hand at archery, rifle shooting, and shotgun shooting under the guidance of certified instructors.

Troop Activities: Engage in team-building games and exciting troop challenges.

Swimming & Boating: Cool off in the lake, improve your swimming skills, or paddle around in kayaks and canoes.

Fishing: Cast your line in pristine waters and try to catch the big one!

Camp Wilderness provides the perfect setting for Scouts to grow in their leadership, outdoor skills, and teamwork, all while having fun. 12.17.2025 Update: All units now have the option to check in a day early, arriving on Saturday. There is no minimum travel distance requirement for early arrival. The $50 early check-in fee still applies. If you plan to arrive early, please indicate this in your registration.
