Cosmic Sledding at Camp Wilderness!
Camp Wilderness is excited to open its gates to the public for Cosmic Sledding on Saturday, February 21! We’re thrilled to welcome families from Park Rapids, Bemidji, Nevis, Menahga, and surrounding communities for an evening of winter fun under the lights.

4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Cost:
$20 per person (all individuals on site must pay the fee, even if not sledding)
What’s Included:
Enjoy 4½ hours of Cosmic Sledding, plus dinner (hot dog, chips, juice, hot chocolate, and s’mores). The Dining Hall will remain open throughout the evening as a warming house with hot chocolate available.
Participation Requirements:
- Sledders must be at least 6 years old and 42 inches tall
- One person per tube
- No skis or snowboards allowed
- Tickets are purchased online prior to or onsite the day of the event (cash or credit card accepted)
- Participants 18 and older must sign their own waiver. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.
What to Wear:
Please dress for the weather! We recommend layering and wearing a winter coat, snow pants, mittens or gloves, boots, and a neck warmer. Helmets are recommended but not required (helmets are not provided). Ski boots are not allowed on the sledding hill.
Arrival & Check-In:
Guests may arrive anytime after 4:00 PM. You’ll be greeted in the main parking lot and directed where to park. From there, head to the Trading Post to purchase your ticket, then enjoy dinner or jump right into sledding.
Departure:
You’re welcome to depart at any time during the event. Please note that overnight accommodations are not available.
