The Pinewood Derby is one of the most recognizable and iconic events in Cub Scouting. Every year millions of Cubs and their parents team up to decorate, weigh, adjust, and finally race their Pinewood Derby car. The first Pinewood Derby was held in 1953 by Cub Scout Pack in Manhattan Beach, California.

The race will be held at Jungle Rapids 5320 Oleander Dr in Wilmington. Race day check in will begin at 1pm. The race starts at 2pm sharp with awards to follow afterwards. The entry fee is $5 per racer and a complete list of rules is attached below.
