Welcome, Lumber River District invite Cub Scouts, friends, family and members of our community to our “Cub Scout Fun Day 2025”.

Cub Scouts and friends will get to explore the world in a day visiting stations that are themed and decorated around a country where Cub Scouting is present. A fun filled day as cubs learn how scouts their age enjoy scouting in their country.  Kids will learn about units, their leaders, and uniforms. At each station kids will enjoy selected hands-on activities special to that country such as STEM, Scout Skills, Shooting Sports, Crafts and Cub Scout Program Adventures.  A snack Breakfast aboard flight #425 and a lunch is included. Parents and Leaders can enjoy a relaxing cool drink and snacks at our Sky Lounge and learn fun projects or crafts that can be done in your scout’s den or at home.

Sign Up and get ready as we embark in our Cape Fear Council’s Lumber River District Flight #425 tour around the world. Meet your Flight Crew and Captain upon arrival and enjoy a day learning about cub scouting in other countries with our Scout Tour Guides.                                               We will have invited guest and community organizations; leaders will be ready and available to sign up any interested scout into a unit near your area.                                             

Pack shorts and a T-shirt, to enjoy the country of Madagascar’s Tropical Water Slide & Norway’s Snowy Foam Pit.

Inflatable Ax Throw game and Air Archery Range available for visitors not participating in shooting sports.

Register your Scout, Friends and Siblings to receive your travel guide itinerary and arrive with passport in hand. Boarding passes available at the gate registration table on Saturday.

$10.00 includes snack breakfast, lunch, activities, awards and a unit ribbon.
