Calling all Marksmen!

We will be hosting a Target and Range Day for Cub Scouts across the District to participate!

This is for all Cub Scouts, including youth who have completed Lions and/or who will be starting first grade after June 1, 2025.  We will break Scouts into grade-specific groups and will rotate across stations in 50 min increments.  Popsicles and water will be provided to beat the heat!

We will have 3 events that can qualify for Rank-based advancement and we will have worksheets to take back to your units for belt loops and pins..

• Archery
• BB Guns
• Slingshots

We will have another station for games as well as the opportunity to make your own arrow.  We will have supplies to make your own arrow that your Scout can customize and take home.

Registration will close on May 18. 2025 so register early to make sure to secure your spot.   This year, there will be registration for Scouts AND volunteers.  If you have a particular Scout Training such as Rangemaster or Range Safety officer, please denote it.  Or even if you want to help make the event a success, the more help the better!
