In accordance with the by-laws of the Occoneechee Council, Scouting America, this is official notice of the Occoneechee Council Annual Business Meeting and Elections scheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2026.   

Jim Erlinger, President of the Occoneechee Council, Scouting America, proudly announces that the Council Nominating Committee under the chairmanship of Chris Jordan has convened.  

The meeting is scheduled for January 22, 2026 at the McKimmon Center at NC State University (101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, North Carolina).  There will be a Silver Beaver reception/Court of Honor beginning at 6:15 p.m., with the Annual Business Meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m.
