Camp Durant is gearing up for another epic experience Jan. 16–18, 2026, packed with challenging merit badge classes, the famous Polar Bear Splash, and plenty of camaraderie around the campfire. Whether Scouts are working on a new badge or braving the icy plunge, there’s no shortage of stories waiting to be made at Durant this winter.

This year’s lineup of merit badges is bigger and better than ever, including new additions like AI, Digital Technology, Welding, and Cycling (with a mountain biking option). You’ll find the full list of classes and all event details in the Leader Guide PDF. Make sure to review it with your troop so every Scout can plan their perfect Winter Blast weekend.

Most importantly, troop leaders should gather class preferences from Scouts now using the planning worksheet.

Registration opens Nov. 3 at 6 p.m., and classes will fill up fast. Having your Scouts’ worksheets ready will make sign-up smoother.
