The Fundamentals of Training (Train the Trainer) hosted by Sandhills District

Training for ADULT AND YOUTH.
NOTE: This is a prerequisite course for Wood Badge and NYLT staff.
Trained leaders provide better programs for the young men and women they serve in their units.
Whether teaching knots to a fellow Scout, leading a merit badge class, or leading a district training session, effective techniques must be used to present the message in the most effective manner.
This course is designed to help Scouters, regardless of their experience, present effective training. The course will also help those who might have trained for other organizations learn the BSA’s training techniques. And, it will help freshen up the skills of current BSA trainers.
$5 registration cost — Includes course materials, coffee, hot chocolate, & donuts. Refunds may be made, through close of Registration.
NOTE: per youth protection standards, youth participants must be accompanied by a parent or adult leader and should have a youth buddy.
