The Silver Beaver Award is a Council-level distinguished service award.  It is the highest award a local Council can bestow on a volunteer. Individuals must be nominated by their local Scout council and approved by the National Court of Honor. Recipients must be registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to their council. The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self-sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service.

The Silver Beaver Court of Honor & reception will be held prior to the Council Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 6:45 p.m. at NC State McKimmon Center:  1101 Gorman Street ~ Raleigh, NC.
