NeXus is a high-adventure resource training course designed for adult leaders and youth (ages 14 and up) in Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouts. Its primary goal is to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to safely conduct outdoor and high-adventure activities within their units.

This hands-on course introduces participants to a variety of high-adventure activities such as climbing, SCUBA, cave exploration, wilderness survival, range & target activities, water sports and more. While it doesn't provide formal certifications, it offers valuable insights into planning and executing adventurous programs, emphasizing safety and adherence to Scouting BSA guidelines, and giving you tools and resources to deliver these activities in your units, districts and councils.

Participants will leave the course with a network of contacts and a wealth of ideas and regional high-adventure information to invigorate their Scouting programs, ensuring that high-adventure activities are both fun and safely executed.
