Join us for a fun-filled Target & Range Day for Cub Scouts from across the Council! We're doing things a little differently this time, so please read the information below.

This event is open to all Cub Scouts, but it is recommended for Tigers and above.  Per Scouting America Safe Scouting guidelines, Lion Scouts are not eligible to participate in the BB gun range, but they are welcome to enjoy the archery and slingshot ranges.

Each Scout will register for one session, which includes time at all three activity stations:

• Archery
• BB Guns
• Slingshots

Please register for only one session so we can accommodate as many Scouts as possible.

To help everyone stay cool, water and popsicles will be provided throughout the event.

In addition to having fun on the ranges, Scouts can work toward rank-based advancement.  Worksheets will be available to take back to your unit to help complete applicable adventures, belt loops, and pins.

Registration closes on August 25, 2026, so don't wait, register early to secure your spot
 

Volunteers Needed

This year, registration is available for both Scouts and volunteers. If you have range-related training, such as Range Master or Range Safety Officer, please indicate that during registration. Even if you don't have specialized training, we'd love your help—many volunteers are needed to make this event a success!

Volunteers are needed for:

• Friday setup
• Saturday morning setup
• Saturday afternoon breakdown
• Assist the Rangemasters (Scout Volunteers 12+)

As a thank-you for your time, lunch will be provided to all volunteers who help with any of these shifts.

For everyone else, the Order of the Arrow (OA) will be selling hot dog lunches for $5 during the event.
