Every Scout deserves a trained leader!  Come get your BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation) training at Spookoree.  Whether your seasoned outdoor scouter or brand new parent, BALOO is right for you!  During this two day course, you'll learn the basics of outdoors, how to put on an outdoor program and most importantly how to be safe and have fun while doing it.

In order for your unit to participate in pack camping, Webelos or AOL overnighters you MUST have at least one BALOO trained leader at the event.  We recommend that you have as many leaders BALOO trained as possible so that your unit isn't relying on a single leader's availability.

This event will take place concurrently with Spookoree but you do not have to be attending Spookoree to attend BALOO.  The course will start at 5pm on Friday and run until 4:30pm on Saturday so if you are attending Spookoree with your pack, you'll still be able to participate in the Spooky Trail and other activities on Saturday night.
