Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) is an annual event organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) in collaboration with amateur radio operators worldwide. Held every October, JOTA allows Scouts from around the globe to connect with each other using amateur radio and, more recently, the internet. It's an opportunity for cultural exchange, learning about communication technology, and fostering global friendship without leaving home.
