You’re Invited to New Mexico Scout Day at the Capitol!

Join Scouts and leaders from across New Mexico for Scout Day at the State Capitol!
Representative Pettigrew and Senator Gallegos have officially placed Scout Day on the 2026 Legislative Session schedule, and we’re excited to showcase the positive impact Scouting has in our communities.

This is a unique opportunity for Scouts to:

• Meet state leaders and learn about how laws are made
• Represent Scouting in New Mexico’s government
• Take part in a day of civic engagement and state pride

We’re currently organizing travel, attendance, and participation details — including which Scouts and leaders will represent their councils. Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, and Venturers may all be eligible to attend.
