ADDITIONAL EVENT DETAILS TO COME

BALOO: BASIC ADULT LEADER OUTDOOR ORIENTATION training is geared for Cub Scout Packs that want to add an outdoor component to their program. This training teaches Cub Scout leadership how to prepare their Pack and families for outdoor programming. Not every outdoor program is the same and this training helps prepare Cub Scout leadership to properly prepare for each outdoor activity. 

This training serves as the outdoor component of the BALOO training certification. The online training must be completed before attending and can be accessed by my.scouting.org BSA Learn Center under EXPANDED LEARNING found here.

TRAINING DOCUMENTATION

This training will be an overnight event, so please prepare with the following items- 

Suggested BALOO Training Gear List

• Tent
• Sleeping bag
• Sleeping pad or mattress
• Sturdy shoes
• Change of clothes
• Sleeping attire
• Mess kit
• Soap, washcloth, towel
• Sunglasses
• Camp chair
• Camera
• Notebook, pen, pencil
• Coat or jacket, cap, and gloves
• Cub Scout Six Essentials

Our training team will provide the food resources for meals, but if you have specific dietary restrictions, please note those on the registration form. 

The registration fee includes ALL MEALS.  This training does require overnight camping in a tent. Please let us know if you have any questions.
